The Simbur Cahaya Journal is the journal of Law Faculty of Law of Sriwijaya University, which publishes a number of articles twice a year, in June and December. The articles are written in English, with more than 360 articles having been published to date. The authors comprise practitioners, academics, students and researchers specialising in legal studies.
The Simbur Cahaya Journal is not limited to normative research alone; empirical research and socio-legal studies may also be published in this journal. Furthermore, the scope of the journal is not limited to Criminal Law, Civil/Business Law, Administrative Law, Constitutional Law and International Law; legal studies addressing contemporary legal issues and developments may also be published in this journal.
