The Sriwijaya Law Review (SLRev) is an international journal published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sriwijaya (FH UNSRI). The idea of the establishment of the journal derived from the initiative from the Dean of Law Faculty, Dr. Febrian, SH.,MS to the Head of Quality Assurance of Faculty of Law (UPM FH) headed by Dr. Hj. Annalisa Yahanan, SH.,M.Hum and Nurhidayatuloh, SHI., S.Pd., SH., LL.M., MH., MHI as the secretary. Then, QAU organized a workshop regarding to the establishing of international e-journal. The participants to the workshop were from the Constitutional Law Departement, Administrative Law Departement, Private Law Departement, Criminal Law Departement and International Law Departement within the Faculty of Law. The outcome of the workshop was formulated the editorial board of the journal where Dr. H. Achmad Romsan, SH., MH., LL.M was appointed as the Editor in Chief and Nurhidayatuloh, SHI., S.Pd., SH., LL.M., MH., MHI as the Managing Editor. Since the journal is an international journal, the editorial board members are from the Faculty of Laws in and abroad, such as Malaysia and Europe. Under the good cooperation between the Faculty of Law Universitas Sriwijaya with stakeholders, on the 31st January 2017 the e-journal version of the Sriwijaya Law Review eventually launched. The event is simultaneously taken as the birth of SLRev.
